Making the decision to go ahead with a loft conversion takes time and planning. You need to be sure you're making the right decision. There are always many questions we get asked from our new customers about the process.

Here are a list of the most common questions:

Q: Do I need to provide my own plans from an architect?

A: No. If you decided to go ahead we bring in a planning architect as the first thing and will show you the drawings on the computer.

Q: If you provide the plans at consulation time, does that cost extra?

A: Yes it does. However it is part of the fixed cost we will quote you if you require plans.

Q: Can you help remove unwanted items in my loft before starting?

A: Sure. We can provide a team of helpers and a skip to help you prepare before starting.

Q: Do you handle the planning permission from the Council?

A: Yes. The initial plans are approved and submitted to them by us. You don't have to do anything. The Council will then visit usually at the beginning and at the end of construction to ensure that it meets the required standards.

Q: Do I have to contact the Council at all?

A: No. However, they may contact you to arrange to come round upon completion of the loft.

Q: Can I work from home while construction is ongoing?

A: Absolutely! Many of our customers have stayed working from home.

Q: What guarantees do you provide?

A: Any post-construction issues or any questions or concerns about your finished loft we are happy to help with - just call us to ask. We guarantee you will be satisfied.

Q: Do you have decorators that will finish off after construction?

A: We recommend decorators and help with the next step once construction is finished.
