Our 'Loft essentials' list is the starting point and base specification for any loft conversion we undertake. Naturally, everybody's requirements are different, so we have compiled 'Schedule of works' form that tailors the base loft in any way you want. Our complete form is available as a PDF download below. Here is an outline of the form as a taster. It is split into four main sections:
- Loft conversion
- This details the type of conversion (eg hip to gable, side, etc), roof type and external materials, windows, fascias and finishes.
- Second fix joinery
- Staircase, doors, newel posts, handrails, skirting, architraves.
- Electrics
- Power points, switches, towel rails, lights, TV/phone points.
- Plumbing
- Water systems, boiler, tank(s), shower, sinks, WC, pumps.
